Originally designed in 1968 by Milo Baughman, the 989 is a timeless classic of the modern era. This visually arresting chair features an upholstered cube that seems to float inside an angular, flat-bar metal frame. With its inviting thick, loose cushions, the 989 lounge chair combines big comfort with glamorous profiles from all angles. The 989 is affectionately known as the T-back chair, as its exposed metal frame forms a "T" when viewed from the rear. Steel frame available in brushed bronze (No. 989-103-B), polished stainless steel ( No. 989-103 ), satin brass ( No. 989-103-SB ), powder coat black ( No. 989-103-BPC ), white powder coat ( No. 989-103-WPC ), gray powder coat (No. 989-103-GPC) chocolate bronze powder coat (No. 989-103-CBPC), or sandblast bronze (No. 989-103-BX) metal finish.
